Tucked away on a quiet court, this 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home offers space, privacy, lifestyle, and convenience. From here, you can bike to Newmarket’s Main Street in under 10 minutes, and several local schools—including Mazo de la Roche, Prince Charles, Sacred Heart, and Newmarket Christian Academy—are each about a 15-minute walk away.

The first thing you’ll notice is just how S-P-A-C-I-O-U-S this home is—and how having more space changes the rhythm of daily life. Things feel more organized and less rushed, with enough room for everyone to actually spread out. There’s a natural sense of calm that comes from finally having the space to breathe.

The main floor is designed with that in mind. The traditional living room overlooking the front porch becomes a quieter place to read, enjoy a morning coffee, or have a conversation while the rest of the home is active around you. The separate dining room with its bay window is perfect for family dinners that stretch a little longer, holiday celebrations, and everyday meals that still feel connected and intentional.

In the renovated eat-in kitchen, there’s plenty of space for busy mornings, homework at the table, or weekend baking sessions, while the adjoining family room with a gas fireplace naturally becomes the central gathering place—movie nights, after-dinner conversations, and everyday time together. A main floor laundry room with garage entry, a convenient 3-piece bathroom with a shower, and electric blinds in the kitchen and family room all add to the home’s everyday ease. The mostly carpet-free layout keeps everything feeling clean, simple, and low maintenance.

Upstairs, all four bedrooms are generously sized and finished with hardwood flooring, giving everyone their own comfortable space instead of anyone feeling squeezed. The primary bedroom comfortably fits a king-size bed with room for dressers and night tables, creating a calm and private retreat at the end of the day.

The fully finished walkout basement adds an entirely separate layer of living space that makes the home even more flexible. With its own full kitchen, 3-piece bathroom, oversized bedroom, and comfortable living area with a gas fireplace, it works beautifully for extended family, older kids who want independence, long-term guests, or simply having space that feels separate when you need it—making this a true forever home that can evolve with your family over time.

Outside, the backyard feels less like a yard and more like your own private cottage escape at home. With its 16' x 32' heated inground saltwater pool as the centrepiece, it becomes a place where everyday life naturally slows down—like weekends at a getaway, without ever leaving home. Afternoons drift into evening swims, meals move outdoors, and the space becomes an extension of how you actually want to live. Mature gardens filled with thousands of dollars of perennial plantings add privacy and a sense of retreat, and include a magnolia tree, choke cherry, Rose of Sharon, white spirea, and peonies. A new awning (2026) and natural gas BBQ with rotisserie are also included, making it easy to live outside as much as inside.

Additional updates include the pool liner (2018), pump and heater (2016), Kreepy Krauly cleaner, and winter safety cover (2020). With 200 AMP service, the home is also ready for an EV charger.

This is a true forever home in every sense of the word. With its flexible layout, multiple living spaces, and a backyard that feels like a private cottage retreat, it’s a home that grows and adapts right alongside your family.

Newmarket

During its early years, Newmarket was mostly an agricultural community, yet it was also home to a busy centre of commerce and small industry. It was incorporated as a village in 1857 with a population of seven hundred and has grown quickly ever since.

Newmarket became a town in 1880 with a population of over two thousand. William Cane was elected as the first mayor of Newmarket, who owned a factory that would eventually become the first in Canada to manufacture lead pencils.

After the second world war, Newmarket experienced major growth and expansion. New subdivisions were rapidly developed, and by 1970, the population of Newmarket more than doubled to eleven thousand residents.

Elman W. Campbell Museum

This museum focused on educating the public and preserving the rich history of Newmarket, from its first days as an agricultural settlement to the present day. The museum offers free admission and hosts school group programs covering topics ranging from pioneer living, traditional games and songs to local government history. The museum also presents annual holiday celebrations on Christmas, Easter and Halloween.
